Comments - Mama Bargains: Hot Deals for a Steal

Worse than just deleting simple comments about the issues with the site that happened they actually allow other customers on their facebook page to attack anyone saying anything that is not totally positive about the company or an experience.  Sorry, you are a business and I'm not interested in being part of a cult.

Hopefully the makers of Luvs will stop advertising for them.  Thats unfortunately how I heard of this company.  Plus their shipping prices are nuts!

Diana - I'm sorry to hear about your bad experience with MB. I had a poor customer service experience with them earlier this year and haven't been back since. Hopefully they can sort everything out and get their customer service back on track. In the meantime, I'm sticking with Babysteals and Kidsteals.

Mamabargains was absolutely ridicolous in handling their negative feedback on the Luvs deal yesterday. They erased simple comments and questions on facebook. I really hope that those facebook posts were worth losing customers over because I rather pay full price than getting treated like that. Sorry mamas

A few others to check out: www.greenbabybargains.com and luckyfamilydiscounts  . . . all mommas need a sweet deal! :)

Don't fprget about babyhalfoff.com!  They are great too :D

Yes. I've also found mamabargins to be more customer friendly than babysteals.com. It is so frustrating to see that they have a product up one week that is "sold out" then two weeks later it's there again.

I also like the mamabargin forum and their style is just friendlier. I've orderd a few times from mamabargins and have always been impressed. And I like that they show you how close something is to selling out...

I've recently found another one that is fun as well. Different approach as they only have a deal a week. But worth checking out if you like babysteals or mamabargins... its truecuddles.com.

alicia,

you're right.  both are great and benefit mamas!  so what's not to love.

Switzerland here, chiming in...I think both sites are great!

natesma,

nice plug from an employee of mamabargains.  pretty obvious.

ophelia,

nice plug from an employee of babysteals.  pretty obvious.  mamabargains, smaller, way more customer friendly, tons of products every day, more addicting, way higher end products, and super fantastic customer service.   i purchase from them all the time, they are local to where i am, in salt lake city, and i love that they have a phone number on their site so that when i have a question, i dont have to wait for an email response.  mamabargains.com has a very good reputation as being the 'higher end' of the two companies.  one other cool thing, on mamabargains, when the item is 'gone' they tell you that it's gone'  you never see the same exact item pop up again if you have already seen it sell out, whereas on babysteals, they are notorious for saying something is 'sold out' only to see it pop up a week later.  its misleading, and i used to window shop their site as well, but have lost interest since i log on at 10 (earliest i can) and things always say 'sold out'  my friends and i are convinced that they only put like 5 items up or something and thats why it says sold out, at least on mb you wont see that same item (fingernail clippers at that) pop up again.  take your pick - fingernail clippers and lotion or uppababy strollers, fleurville diaper bags, and lots of other way high end products?
