We've covered hospital bag necessities right here on Wee Baby Stuff before, but I do love me a list. Gap has a section called Hospital Bag Help where they've put together what they consider to be essential for a hospital bag, it includes:
- a cozy robe
- a few pairs of socks
- a good nursing bra
- a nursing sleep set (I guess they mean jammies)
- a soft baby blankie
- a full diaper bag
- a safe car seat
- an adorable outfit for baby
- a going home outfit for you
It's mostly a sound list but I am not exactly in love with some of the items they have chosen. For example, and I know it's a little thing, the socks they show would be a killer on swollen ankles. And I'm not sure that the robe they show could ever be described as cozy (or maternity for that matter). There also appears to be one huge, glaring underpant shaped omission. Panties Gap-people, panties! I know you make them.
Though I do like the Aden & Anais muslin swaddle wraps and the essential kimono set (that's what Teddy came home in). I also think that the one-stop-shopiness of their list is a good. I hated carting my heavily pregnant self around the mall. So what do you think? Any other clothing related stuff you would add?
