Make a Sippy Cup Leash

This is the problem,

created at: 2009-07-06

Nobody has invented a sippy cup alarm yet, so when a cup is tossed out of a stroller by a pookie, there's no handy AROOGA AROOGA noise to warn you that you're about to lose another sippy.

Which is why Ashely at Make It and Love It's Sippy Cup Leash tutorial is so awesome.  It's clever, inexpensive, easy and it should solve the problem completely. So yay!

To make one you'll need

  • 32" of ribbon.
  • 2 pieces of STRONG velcro, 1 inch long (1 piece of the hook side and 1 piece of the loop side)
  • 2 pieces of STRONG velcro, 3 inches long (1 piece of the hook side and 1 piece of the loop side)
  • an 8" strip of shelf liner (I have some non-slip under-rug stuff that looks like it would fit the bill nicely)

and to head on over here for the skinny. Actually while you're at it you should have a peek around Ashley's Etsy shop, her baby booties are cute enough to drag a misty eyed 'awwww' out of anybody.
