It gets everywhere, and when you put it away in boxes, it breeds. I am of course talking about the kind of cluttery STUFF that arrives with your new baby. Even the most spartan of minimalist homes aren't immune, and those of us who are hoarders anyway are in big trouble.
Parenting.com has a list of six strategies to deal with the STUFF. They include:
Teaching your kids how to clean. They mean putting stuff away, not chimney sweeping or anything. Even little fellows can be hassled into putting stuff into boxes... well, sometimes.
Curate that artwork. Well sure it belongs in MOMA, but until your pookie gets an agent, these tips help keep it organised.
Toss the toys. Ok, this one I'm not sure about, My sweetie is still traumatised by the great parental toy cull of '84 so I'd say give it some VERY SERIOUS THOUGHT before you purge.
Head on over for the rest of the list.
