Ah, the family-oriented restaurant. Notable for their sticky booster seats, frazzled staff, deafening noise levels AND paper placemats that come with crayons for your colouring amusement. I LOVE those things. Seriously. I think they should have them in ALL restaurants. Bars too. What I'm saying is placemats you can colour in - YAY! So I figured out a way to bring the fun home. I was inspired by these fellows, they are $30 a pop...

The fridge is the natural home of kid's artwork, or it is at our house. But it's not the ideal archival situation for the pookies priceless scribbles. AND it can make getting a snack a gauntlet of dropping papers and collapsing crayon scribbles. I dunno about you, but I think that original art looks better in a fancypants frame. What I've come up with is a magnetic fridge frame that should allow me safely store...

I'm fumbling through this whole parenting thing. It's the most funny, brilliant and satisfying job I've ever had, even if the hours are long, the training is tough and the lunch breaks are terrible.
I also have a personal blog, Luck and Bliss, where I mostly write about poop and sewing, and uh, deep philosophical stuff? OK not the last one...
