Apartment Therapy spotted this image on Ocechou, and knew they had a project that would solve the snowy winter afternoon doldrums. Turn old shoeboxes into buildings! Just cover them with white paper and draw on the architectural details of your choosing. Maybe make a replica of kiddo's own digs. How fun--and economical and environmental--is that?!
