They're soft, colorful and educational...kind of like my rotund second grade teacher, Mrs. Martin. Super easy and inexpensive to make, they'd make a great addition to your baby's toy chest or as a gift. To make them, you'll need to assemble the following:
- scraps of material in assorted colors and prints
- polyester fiberfill
- fusible web for the optional appliques
Each finished block measures 2 1/2" square in the tutorial at All People Quilt, but you could make them in any size you'd like.
