This Daddy Diaper Changing Toolkit is a funny gag gift, but being the non-comformist, I would definitely have to rig up a better version of this idea as a custom made daddy helper kit or bag. I've never been one to purchase non-functional gag gifts only for the gag. My version may be a combo kit of funny, yet practical products along with the usual diaper bag content. Here's what I may include:
ziplock bags for yucky diapers
handi-wipes
a couple of pacifiers
diapers
burp cloths
tongs-funny but not really useful
maybe a swimming nose plug-funny and practical
goggles-practical for a baby boy
formula or mommy milk in reserve
The SECRET weapon for a crying baby who is away from mommy-one of mommy's shirts with her scent on it. Use it like a blanky next to baby's face and you'l be amazed by it's soothing power.
Seriously, Dad is not going to take the baby out carrying a toolbox, so pack this all up in a dignified
"man bag" messenger type bag. Sorry, I can't help but be practical.
