This DIY Monster kit designed by Donna Wilson costs $40.00 and includes everything you need to create your own (plush) monsters. This goes to show you that if you have a great idea, go for it! I thought about this last year and designed an entire little ensemble of  quirky monsters. The cutting and applique making was a little too tedious for me to prepare kits over and over again. I put that project on hold

But you can easily decorate your child's tee or onesie with your own creatively drawn monster applique. The great thing is that there's no right or wrong. I just found a little cheat sheet on how to draw cartoon facial expressions. You could even go a step further and embroider your child's name above or below the image.
