You've heard all the jokes about sleep deprivation, college tuition, no more sex (for a while), changing diapers and much more. The things no one jokes about are the things that make you fall quickly head over heels about this little helpless person who's looking to you for everything.

 Here's a brief list of things to notice and adore right off the bat:

1. Their perfect little hands and feet

2. The distinctive shape of their little nose

3. The smell of their hair and head after a bath

4.  Watching them at the moment they fall asleep

5. The funny faces they make due to gas, tiredness, contentment, learning

6. The feeling you have while nursing or giving them a bottle while rocking 

7.  The shape of their weird little naked, newborn body while changing their duds

8.  The perfection of their eyebrows, lips and ears

9.  The first time they look right in your face

10.  The family resemblences that are so obvious to you

Of course you'll notice a million more wonderful things about your own baby, but the most wondrous thing is that he/she is finally here and already has a huge group of fans.
